Am I missing something? I don’t quite understand why he didn’t feel like he could tell her his backstory up until now. It was being built up like this big obstacle that was going to make their future dreams clash but it was just him telling her his past and that he loved her

espc as he said that he projects the death of soan on other kids he sees his age
and if he's travelling to these countries i think without her he'd be leaving her for long periods at a time
maybe his focus wouldn't completely be his partner but the activities he does for the children and other people
I think that’s part of it. His dream is very important to him and he wanted to emphasize that to her. But at the same time he really does love her and wants her to know that. There will likely be time for work he will be away for a while but he doesn’t want her to think she’s not important to him too. I think this couple can make it though. Yuki seems very understanding. And the distance could be a good thing. She can figure out her own dreams while he’s chasing his.
Can you imagine how much better this manhwa would be if the characters were given ACTUAL personality and not the NPC characterization we’re getting??
IKR?? The ML is so freaking annoying, like gde you remember one day from 10 years ago, big deal. The guy doesn't know you, he never wanted this and now you tell him he has to abandon his life and live it the way you want? If someone tried to force me to live like that just because of my gender, I don't think I would survive it, like no filter I don't think I would last a day before trying to off myself.
Like the amount of stress, anxity, lack of autonomy of my own life, my whole lifes work going to ruin, being forced to study things I don't want against my own will. Some rando just comes up to you after you had a teaumatic sexual experince and tells you, that you HAVE to give birth to their child (WHILE YOU ARE IN YOUR EARLY 20s). And everyone around you is telling you how ungareful you are, that you are the unreasonable one.
I understand the good intentions Jiho has but blindsiding him with this meeting is careless at best and downright cruel at worst. Especially after going thru what he just went thru with his family and how supportive Inwoo was, this move just feels really clumsy and almost out of character. Honestly wouldn’t fault Inwoo if he decides to break up cuz of this. You don’t spring a reunion on someone who has a deeply traumatic past with a parent who abandoned them and left them with their abuser…
