Honestly with all of their cyclical arguments and relationship issues that they have I really wish they would go get couples counseling (and I wish it was more accessible/accepted in Japan) they’re not a healthy couple and honestly if they can’t sort things out and continue in these cycles it might be best for both if they broke up. It’s harsh but it’s also cruel to expect them to be able to “heal” each other when they both have very deep seated issues that they are both woefully unqualified to resolve
It’s honestly so masterful how the author has crafted the narrative because like the MC we’re falling for the ML despite his horrific crimes and secretly hoping for something more. I’m always thoroughly impressed when authors are able to change up the narrative encouraging the audience to ignore said atrocities in exchange for the love story
It’s really amazing right. Like your heart start to balance just like the heart of the Mc, and just a very well done story can do this <3
