i'm getting real tired of these semes who are nice and then mean. like, in real life, no one ends up with that person because THAT'S AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP. but wtvr, it was an ok story..

I agree. It's a trope that I wish was used a little more sparingly. Unfortunately, that second sentence is pretty false. Abusive partners are a very real life thing and it happens way more often than many people think. Something I see a lot of in real life, due to some of my volunteer work. It would be nice to for once see a character get help or actually fight back against their abuser. NOT in a Harada like way, but in a way that is healthy for the abused and abuser. While not perfect and not completely healthy as no counseling went on. Just the typical we in love, we gon' fix this with love!, but I find Ogeretsu Tanaka's Renai-rubi no Tadashii and the continuation FurikataHadakeru Kaibutsu a better take on domestic violence. This "I love you, that's why I must beat the shit out of you!" or "I've always liked you, that's why I mentally scarred you by being an asshole!", shit is bogus.
i typically dont read girly harems, but i like the main characters development and this mysterious past
