so yea even if the argument is that they both used each other, penelope at least wasn’t purely selfish in her motives and helped eclis out ALOT, whereas that sonofabich only did what he wanted and didnt consider penelope’s feelings at all

Yeah I completely agree with you. I love Pen but she def had her selfish desires. She never meant to treat eclis as a human since the beginning. She wanted a dog and he wanted a savior but pen’s twisted way of toying with his feelings caused him to want a master and be obsessed. They are both victims of their environment and each other.
