His constant manipulation and gas lighting is so exhausting. Not to mention his mood swings. Maybe if the mc wasn’t so traumatised by his past, he would’ve seen how he is wasting his own time and mental energy by being with this ml. I felt exhausted after just reading it, can’t imagine an actual relationship with such a person.
This seme is more infuriating to us readers cause he is SO close to what a real life abuser looks like! Just like the abusers in real life who even after behaving like trash, never really feel regret over their actions and string along their victims till the end.

If you think about it, she was living quite a nice and stable life after leaving the ml. All these current problems started after the ml decided to chase after her. I don’t hate him but I wish he had the emotional maturity to understand that it’s wise to let her be for a while for her own betterment. He should’ve shown remorse for his actions, left her alone for a while and then maybe after a year tried to rekindle their relationship.
The ml TOLD HIM it was his last chance. And the first thing he does is scream at her!
They are like any other married couple. I like how their dynamic is portrayed realistically. They have their own issues but at the end of the day they still try. I like seeing that.
