Some people are saying that sejin is selfish and was horrible to ido. Well, I guess I really like that? Dont get me wrong. I just hate it when the uke is a literal angel (eg kim dan) who has done nothing but good for the seme while the seme out there is a literal demon. And STILL the uke forgives the seme. Sejin having his very own human flaws (due to his own set of trauma ofcourse) kind of makes me feel better cause now they both DO deserve each other. Both fumbled in their own ways, worked through their issues, toiled and got over it. Thats better than the gross difference in morality of main characters.

I know its a manhwa so sejin will eventually forgive ido in this new life but some part of me wants ido to suffer in this life. To live without sejin. To see sejin flourishing without him and just marinate in the fact that his ego and shitty behaviour is responsible for all of this forever. Some things are just not forgivable dude….
They are like any other married couple. I like how their dynamic is portrayed realistically. They have their own issues but at the end of the day they still try. I like seeing that.

Maybe if the mc wasn’t so traumatised by his past, he would’ve seen how he is wasting his own time and mental energy by being with this ml. I felt exhausted after just reading it, can’t imagine an actual relationship with such a person.
This seme is more infuriating to us readers cause he is SO close to what a real life abuser looks like! Just like the abusers in real life who even after behaving like trash, never really feel regret over their actions and string along their victims till the end.
