At the scene where Edith's was meant to be behaded by Killain, Killin saves her but she still gets thrown into prison. Lize trys to make it look like Edith stabbed her but Killin quickly proves it false. Lucky for Lize, Edith asks for her not to be thrown into prison.
After this, Cliff still loves Lize so they get married but because she has no control over anyone, Cliff and the Dukes family starts to realise she's a selfish person and dislike her a lot. Lize still tries to follow the novel ending and one scene in the novel is that Lize finds the imperial family missing child. However the current Lize can't find them, so she gets a slave to pretend they are the missing child. The imperial family catches onto this and imprison her for treason. Edith stumbles upon the actual missing child and so she saves Lize life by making it so that she gets put into a nunnery. Cliff is then free to divorce her and he finds a new wife. (Lize had signed a prenup that Cliff couldn't divorce her)
Thanks for the future good person. That’s a good ending for everyone except for the OGFL but she had the power of choice which for so long everyone in her story didn’t have.
