EXACTLY, she even said in the earlier chapters that she'd be fine running away from the dukes estate since she can just manifest food, but look at her omggg, she could've even conjured up a gun and got away from those weirdos, not to mention she suddenly became so strong and fierce at the start but then she returned to being timid and weak, there's actually no consistency.
And how is no one questioning the empresses ex-maid, I mean this woman was apparently beside the empress even when she gave birth but the Empress was somehow killed and the daughter is alive as well as the ex-maid and the empress knew how sneaky she was too...also, they've could've killed the actual daughter, why actually wait until she's much older, and leave any loose strings.
