Just my theory
Ok so, in the past, ml neglected mc most of the time. The ml and the mc had no emotional attachments at first, but started to develop feelings with each other over time.
At first, I thought the ml was a big asshole in the past that also sexually abused mc but turns out, this recent chapter revealed that the piss of shit older brother was the one raping mc in the past. The trauma is so bad, mc is literally having nightmares from his previous life
Well at least that cleared up some confusions that the ml is not the person who's raping MC in his nightmares HOPEFULLY that is the case
Here's why I think ml is not the culprit:
Cuz if it was the ml who was raping mc in the past, then mc should've atleast felt some sense a familiar aversion during their intercourse. The mc only felt familiarity but he did not feel repulsed of ml's touch.
The recent chap rlly showed that the real rapist in MC's nightmares is the older brother. Due to his fight or flight system was activated and mc is very repulsed or scared when the older brother appeared. Not only that, the older brother referred to him as, "ido's plaything" it really shows how much he objectifies mc and has a rapist mindset

Maybe the reason why mc is scared of guns is probably due to suicide or someone pointed it at him or he saved ml from that gun that's how he died.

The MC and ML got married in the first timeline. At first it was just contractual but ML fell in love with the MC actually both of them fell in love, that explains why MC have sense of deja vu. They both drive the han river and ML thought that the MC was beautiful although the MC keeps saying thaf the view from the Han river was beautiful. The bath tub with sky over view at the ceiling was because during their conversations ML asked what MC wants and MC said he wanted a bath tub because he doesn’t have one in their family house and how beautiful it would be to watch the sky while at it. The french poem was translated by MC in the first timeline and he became the ML’s french teacher. The ML kept asking the MC what he wants because he wanted to give MC what he wants but the MC said he doesn’t want anything only the ML. That was before he stole the data. After he stole the data and ML found out about it, he asked the MC why he did it. He kept asking the MC to make any excuse as to why he did it but MC didn’t make any excuse and that frustrated the ML he said that in MC’s eyes he’s not worth of being even given excused to. In one of the scene where the ML was drunk and MC came begging for forgiveness the ML said “In Se-jin’s heart there’s only his father and He-shien.” “I was not there.” “I was never there.” And that’s when all the abused happened.

No wait, the author is cooking. Since in every lives they are reincarnated in, they are always together because of some ritual bs the ml did but WHAT IF in every lives, the ml learns how to properly love the mc instead of letting his obsession control him.
In this recent chapter, we get to peek that the ml has somewhat redemptive thoughts abt letting MC go or some feelings of pain by just imagining MC being as miserable as their first life. Ofc since he's used to his toxic affection towards MC, instant change is almost impossible. For now.
If this isn't the end, I can imagine that in every life they are reincarnated in, the ml learns that his love is too destructive for mc and in that process he learns how to let go and end the cycle of their reincarnation.
And then if they're really the end game. They get to finally reincarnated normally with no rituals and memories of past lives and whatsoever, then meet each other again. This time, as new people with no ties from their past lives and the actual start of their beginning.

I think this is accurate as in the 9 reincarnations he had he modified his behavior even tho this last one was the only one he at least behaved and at the end decided to “trust” him.
Btw as Seoyo felt the ankle pain because of the arrow (the first lifetime he kill’s himself drowning in the lake) Narye feels the headache from when he gave up his life instead of Seoyo. Guess he needed to let go in order to reach that affection.
Another thing that gave me sm ick is, the fl is mentally a child. Not trying to blame her anything because it's understandable due to her circumstances but during ml's pov he only looks at her body and a full shot of her naked body is shown. It's just uncomfortable to look at as a reader since we're literally aware that her thought process is like a child. A normal person wouldn't find this appealing, if the creator is going for the porn plot.
Anyways I look forward for fl's character growth, can't wait for her to learn and grow then leave all these fuckers.
Gawd I can't, the ml is so unlikable. Him being manipulative is fine since he's doing it for revenge, but his inner monologues abt the fl is what made him very repulsive. Ig the author is going for "she falls for him but her fell harder" trope but I hope the ml will suffer during his character development or make them not end together cuz fl found her worth or sumthin
