Sangwoo was written off to be appealing and attractive, so you cant fault other people for being attracted to his character. Just because they find Sangwoo attractive, you automatically equate that to them wanting to be a victim. Those "dem thirsty girls" may like Sangwoo appearance-wise but I doubt all of them advocate for that kind of behaviour in real life because they are aware of the line between reality and fantasy.

Idk why, but for some reason this doesn't work with me. I mean, I love Hannibal Lecter, but I hate Sangwoo. Perhaps because of how the authors write them. Sangwoo is clearly the villain and has almost no redeeming qualities. Hannibal is a sick son of a bitch, but he's actually a protagonist, and he's clever and surprisingly charismatic.

Did you just say that being a Fujoshi means that I like rape?! No. Rape is such a disgusting thing. It's a crime. And I know certain type of manga like to include it in their pages doesn't mean it is okay. If I find a manga that has rape in it I just drop it.

You are operating here under the wrong assumption; Yaoi does not normalize rape; what yaoi does as a fiction sub-genre of romance is use the "fiction rape fantasy" trope in its romanticized form, which has absolutely nothing to do with the brutality of real life rape. That's why I can enjoy the romanticized rape in yaoi un-apologetically, and as a conscientious human being, repudiate rape culture and the misogynistic laws and attitudes that enable it.

Enjoying yaoi or any literary/genre fiction form that uses the fantasy rape trope or any other unconventional literary trope requires one to differentiate fiction from real life.

Yo I know you guys think it's just a fictional world. But subconsciously the lines get blurred when shit like this treats rape like it's hot. The rape in real life you're thinking of is probably a stranger ripping the clothes off a victim and assaulting them. But that's not the only way rape happens. Let's put it this way. You're significant other decided to have sec with you even though you said no. That's still rape, but BECAUSE you've seen it so many times it doesn't seem relevant. Point is you may not be feeling it but you're probably desensitizing to rape...
