I think this is a very interesting premise and story but GOD do I hate akelans. no amount of groveling at her feet is going to make me like him. she's the only one with a good head on her shoulders bc we know that if it were for akelans he'd destroy the empire, that's the only reason why solan is staying for him and the most annoying part is that he'll probably live More than 3 years somehow bc of some bullshit magic
