So she attended partys to forget all shit. But when she realized it was too late and thought wasn't worthy of forgiveness and let it be. Now she got a second chance.

She was so young when she got pregnant and couldn't cope with the changing lifestyle (not being able to attend parties anymore, not being admired, etc.) And those around her only cared about her unborn child and not how she felt during the pregnancy(she was also forced to assume the role of how a mother should be because of societal pressure). Basically, ppl ignored that she was a person who had hopes and dreams independent from her child and being a mother. Then, she had to deal with her husband leaving for war, the death of a family member, and more while she was pregnant. Unsurprisingly, she suffered from postpartum depression when her baby was born because she was basically told that her only worth was conceiving a child and being a mother (since no one in the household allowed her to get involved in financial affairs or do anything else).So she started to resent her child because she could no longer do things she desired (like attending dances or other things she loved) because society was forcing her to be a stay at home mother and that society was telling her that she had no value aside from that. Therefore, she rebelled in her own way by ignoring her child that society and ppl cherished and valued above her and instead focused on just doing what she wanted.
