i realized from that one translator's note that people may not actually like this but i never hated on the MC, i totally understood him. i did not like the ML for majority of the story and doubted whether he would get any decent character development but that changed after the break up, good for him that he grew up from that. i also honestly wishes until the end that MC would end up with Cain but everything worked out very well. it was such a good read, although the monologues were a bit tiresome to read, their mental state were protrayed very well. Cain's last few scenes made me cry urghh my dear boy, you did so well ಥ‿ಥ actually everyone did so well in the story even the ML at the end.
the dilemma (ب_ب)
on one hand, him overindulging his superiors is hurting his relationship and bounderies must be enforced.
but it is his career tho. its not like his superior is intentionally harrassing him, thats just the nature of his work, you cant blame him for things he cant help! and you cant just irresponsibly say "just quit and find a new job!"
He doesn’t even need to quit, he just needs to realize how unhealthy it is to overindulge your boss in encroaching in private time and space and that for a healthier work environment and healthier work-life balance, he seriously needs to put up boundaries. It’s not like Minato is always demanding and not giving him space for his career. Minato has always been supporting him, making way, and even when he gets mad, he tries to be the one to apologize first and reflect on himself, to the point that he’s reflecting too much into a mental breakdown.

understandable situation
My thoughts exactly!
