i think the fact thats theres no moe gap between them and the way bottom calls him "dude" just screams "i dont see you like that" even if he actually does and thats whats turning the readers off.
i’m pretty sure the “dude” is just translated from 야 which - especially during the sex scenes - should be translated as something more like “hey” since id say it’s more of an accurate and fitting translation for that situation and doesn’t sound so awkward lmaoo
he def thought girl and brown hair dude have a thing going on bacause of the call history. and with her working at the company.. sighh

poor Eve really got the short end of the stick. hes the only one still needing the guiding medication because the other espers have alrady been modified to not need so much guiding. its already the best effort the humans had done. they cant spend billions formulating a better medication for a single esper that shouldve been long since terminated anyway. poor eve.

im a bit confused but basically how i understood it:
Jin fell first when they were in highschool. thats when he started chasing after dawoon. then his charms worked and dawoon started liking him back. so they both like each other but suddenly jin had a gf (first of all jin why tf?) and dawoon had to bury his feelings. then fast forward to present, they met again and were back to square one with jin chasing after dawoon. did i get that right?
so the mystery in the plot is:
is the dating rumor in HS real? if so, JIN WTF?
when did the first kiss in HS happen?
how and when exactly did they stop talking in HS?
i feel for jin tho lol boi's patience is wearing extremely thin
im so looking forward to what happens with MC and his real friend. i hope we get a story out of them too
