so hey, ive read something historical that has smvt genre but got me livid and i dont wish for this story to become like that, im traumatised and i love this & this has a good flow to me. Anyway cause the king & his mistress (side characters supposed to be) have been scandalous for most ch 30 straight & the story is only ch 46 now. Could you believe that my anger made me binge read the story hoping for the revenge but just left a bad taste in my mouth i regret reading so i rated it low anyway. Cause i am sure these side characters are the protagonist they be having seggs everyday & i only care they grovel before the fl. The ml & fl? Not a single smvt full chapter until ch 46. It's not even the genre anymore, cause the story has potential but got ruined because of that. Why not make separate stories for these villains im sure youll have your target audience. and i dont like to see the intimate moments of the villains (cheaters) in details (so uncomfortable) & have their story unfold to justify their behavior. When they dont. I dont really care. This is the part of writing that i dont like & it's soemthing personal. So i often skip it. I can accept the flashback on their pass that made them a bad character but the smvt between them? Nah. So i do beg and hope mincheol will not flash here and his mistress again, cause i think it would be only a waste for the art & space for the story. I feel bad to skip, but unfortunately.

Oh nono I wanted the spoilers. I've seen reels of this manhwa and I've heard bad things about it so I was contemplating reading it. But then I heard the ml graped her or sm and it's a mess (wld love more/all spoilers)
Alright! They're married (emperor-empress) but ml doesn't really like her. You can imagine the unthinkable things ml did to her. Yes he graped her, she had miscarriage too, was gaslighted, ignored, tortured, abvsed, had her father ex3cuted and next had her ex3cuted too, & he has mistress with him too, and yes fl loves him during that before she got ex3cuted, that's the angst. This is her past life btw cause fl will go back to past, reborn, with her 2nd life & all her memories. All of this will be detailed on the starting chapters when you read.
Now being reborn fl will change her fate right she would avoid ml and just stay with her father & have her happy ending by not repeating the past & not to become an empress again. Readers like me got hook & hopeful so i stayed for more 20-30, it was good cause mc is doing the right thing. In her 2nd life, she finally has colors on her life compared to her sad past life. She got friends now and she's alright. Until she's not. Considering remembering her memories she's very afraid of ml so shes very scared of him by every tea meeting, or just near him. Poor girl is traumatized can't blame her. But things took a diff turn, by not becoming an empress, shes still able to see him & yes avoiding him got ml persistent, typical manhwa plot. Since ml is now diff compared to past, fl fall in love with ml again. She just loves him from the beginning. Then i found out it has something to do with the divine's power in that world, she met the god & told she can't change her fate. She's bound to be miserable no matter what she does, she will love him forever. And i thought that's so unfair. What got me disappointed, as the chapters went on fl becomes unreasonable, less smart and less admirable. All of the efforts she did went down the drain, and i couldn't help question the author's writing. Cause at some point, if i were fl i couldn't stomach to fall in love again with the person who betrayed, tortured me and ended my father's life, and mine too. But it's all because of unreasonable of that fate thing. She couldn't escape it. Despite that there's 2nd ml who's more better than ml. Then plot twist, ml was getting poison in past & present that's why he did all of that.
2: this poison focus on to worsen ml's negative feelings toward her. You see ml is jealous of fl, got some issues here unfortunately i cant remember the details but they are bethroted since kids. & fl too is affected by this poison. And i thought, is that it? For the plot twist. All shes been through because of only that? Shes got reborn to have some colors in her life yes, and forgave her mrderer. But to end up with him? She needs therapy. I don't dislike the ml in present compared my dislike to him in the past, but when i read it i wished she wouldn't end up with him still. Ends i don't like him too. Yes she cant help but love him, but girly should have self respect and dignity. With the same face she fell in love, it's so unreasonable to me i couldn't stomach it if you read, you will understand. And all of that because of that divine's fate, another unreasonable to me so i regret reading. What's the author's intention? I saw it. Some ppl's reality is like this. Yes. But guess what, you could have got therapy or atleast dont end up with your abvser. It's fiction but still. So i question the writer's intention. It's like romanticizing an abvsive relationship, the abvsed and manipulated person's dreamy world where her abvser changed for the better & loves her and they have happy ending. It's doesnt really sit up with me.
3. But again, the decision is yours! This has novel btw unfortunately i haven't read that. Only the manhwa version. Advantage it has a good art. I read before that it has skipped detailed parts in novel but the sufferings are the same but worse. I read someone's review who read the novel and we have the same thoughts, that she must not end up with ml. It's way back 2021-2022 i read this story. You can check more details on Novel spoiler forum, google the titled (add) novel spoiler & there you go. And i said if you want justice or revenge arch your hopes will be crushed too. Fl is not really smart and that gurl. So that's all i remember.

You're welcome! About the story I reached 134 ch btw when i checked. It was near the ending but i dropped it. Yeah me too it was too much reading something miserable & in details will really stress you out.. it's 200% angst. oh I can still remember how frustrated i was, from ch 1-134 it's normal that sometimes we get curious, i was younger and all that btw. I was patient and hopeful, i understand the fl. But at some point my patience really snapped and finally decided the story is going nowhere. Near the end it seems rush and the characters are mess up, unrealistic. Character development was left hanging midway. Really wasted my time. So after all these years everytime i encounter the same situations that i'm pretty sure is going nowhere as the story progresses, and it drags i drop it. The only good thing that happened here is she got new friends, shes get so close with her father & the 2nd ml. She's happy good for her, tbh i was just sad and felt unfair for her cause she deserves way better too.
and last one it really is personal to me it's ab the credibility of writing and expressing the story. I think it was written poorly for me cause i have read someone said this story has the same plot with another story, i forgot the title, but that one is well written. And i couldnt agree more. The ml repent and acknowledge his faults but in this one, unfortunately.. & I think all our love are real and so valid, it's really up to the person's happiness & that's important. I hope i didn't mispoke something that hurt you, i apologize. But then have a good time reading!
