Man, after this San revelation I had to go back before the flashback, around ch 75, to understand what the hell happened to him and OH MY GOD! After so long I guess I've forgotten HOW FUCKING AMAZING THAT PLAN WAS! So thrilling. The battle aganst Hwan, San trapped inside his body, Hwan cutting Geumseun's arm off, 704 appearing at the perfect time to throw the arrows in his direction, Hwan almost getting 704 and Geumseun saving him just so 704 could shoot an arrow into Hwan's eye MY GOD THAT WAS SO AMAZING I REMEMBER CRYING AND SCREEMING LIKE NEVER BEFORE while reading the manga. Chef's kiss. This story NEEDS a drama adaptation. PERFECTION!

This is not "the second couple" story guys. This is the story's beguinning. When it all started. The author is showing us the full context to complement the main story. We saw Geumsun being born, we saw he grow up, we saw 704 before becoming a reaper and now we see where he came from, we saw how San and his ancestors were ESSENCIAL for Hwan's downfall, we saw when Eunjae must have gotten his misfortune from and how Hwan even possessed one of his ancestors... The story is being build from the very start in this season, so that when this historical arc is done we will finaly understand everything and everyone in the main story. This is art! It's not all about Geumsun and 704's lovestory for god's sake.

If anything I think this story is one of the most complete and well developed BL I’ve ever read. It’s has everything you can ask for. Plot, historical theme, contemporary theme, drama, tragedy, innocent feelings and mature feelings, smut, development, FOUR main characters, beautiful art. What else can anyone ask for when most BL out there are mostly smut or mostly innocent feelings and the characters barely kiss?
