It would be great and him saying to the friend that emperor proposed to him but also states law that it's silly bc they can't supports it. I would love if he was just playing a dumb but he is definitely a bit.
He's not acting dumb, remember how someone asked him what if the emperor wants to marry him? He said it's impossible and doesn't even entertain the thought. Keep in mind, the two of them clearly were this close to each other since childhood, for him this IS the norm. These things combined says to me that he sees the emperor's actions as nothing but platonic with no doubt in his mind, because he thinks it's impossible for them to date/marry
What I meant by an "act" is his abnormally naive and oblivious personality. Imagine him being scared of the emperor so he plays along with him without giving a straight answer cuz he knows that marriage between them is impossible. I know very well that the plot won't go into that direction but it would be impressive if it did.
Duke is strong for sure, likely just right behind Ian and Jiwoo in their age group. That said, I canât wait to see him get his THIRD ass whooping by Jiwoo lol, on his way to becoming the worst villain ever.

I just read this in one go and could tell while reading that the comments werenât gonna go easy on Chaeheon but I actually enjoyed this, they feel so real. Ngl theyâve both got issues they need to work on for sure, but theyâre both sweethearts.
