ok so i read this because i saw a girl crying over this and tbh.. it was just fine? i mean i love how they talked about important issues n such but i just never had that “damn this manga hit diff than the rest” moment other than that debate bedroom scene. its sad that we didn’t get to see a development between touma and taichi through the years due to this being a shounen manga :(
to be completely honest, i felt like the ending was so rushed.. like they built up all this tension for us to see them 5 years later. i’m glad that touma & taichi got married but i also have a concern abt masumi.. ngl throughout the story it was implied multiple times that she’s not “normal” and we see that every boy she’s ever been with always ends up with her not reciprocating their feelings which makes you think shes a lesbian or something along the lines but nope surprise surprise my girl is a bisexual! it would have been nice for her to end up with a girl imo but it’s ok.
and to finally end this rant or review.. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO MAMI-CHAN AND HER MIDDLE SCHOOL FRIEND??? I WAS SO INTRIGUED BY HER STORY ONLY FOR HER TO APPEAR W/ HER DREAM JOB (i mean not that it’s bad or anything go off ig #girlboss #dontneednoman) </33 UGHH I WAS REALLY ROOTING FOR HER AND HER MIDDLE SCHOOL FRIEND… (/TДT)/
it honestly depends how much it can relate to a person. if someone shared the same difficulties or hiding it it can really hit hard. like if you read a line and then all of a sudden you’re like
yea so true bestie! you do have a point but i guess since i haven’t really experienced any of these first love or crushes in high school or in general yet, (i’m almost done with hs but i have yet to experience these emotions HAHAHA) i don’t really relate to what they feel. i love how this manga is so open to these topics and how broad each character’s personalities are— that just makes them so empathizing to most people :,)
bedroom scene is just to satisfy fans on yaoi. i think like kaito stated they got to say their mind even tho it didn't resolve anything sometimes, but i think the whole thing revolved around tai's choice in the end. i think it was wholesome and it does leave an impression i would think about this after i read it whole and be like what if this or that happen or a dif decision was made... but that would make it my perspective alone lol (i feel kaito's where where you sometimes can't find the right way to express what you want to say)
sorry to ask but can you please enlighten me on why the bedroom scene was "just to satisfy fans on yaoi"? though i agree with the rest of your opinion on how the whole thing revolves around taichi's choice and how the bedroom scene was just the other surrounding chars stating their opinions abt the situation, i just don't get what u mean by ur first sentence ╥﹏╥
