Ugh I’m sad this moment didn’t land. Especially bc they’ve been taking this so slow (including a whole chapter JUST TO CONFESS), I think it would have served the story way more if the author took this moment a lot slower than him just putting it in.I heard the season is ending in a chapter or two so maybe the author felt rushed to get it over with? If that’s the case I feel like she could have cut the fluff in the middle of the season to serve this moment and to give it space to breathe and make sense lol.
