I just finished reading and where the fuck did our edgy calculating murder freak go?? they turned him into a crybaby and somehow he’s soft and emotional. the new art style gave him a babyface, and the plot just changed drastically. I was invested due to jinsung’s creepy demeanour, but they literally changed that too, it’s as if from chapter 53 and onward all the characters got rewritten by someone else. And why the fuck do they keep pushing romance into the plot, it’s irrelevant and shouldn’t be in a manhwa about death and murder, jinsung wasn’t even interested in seyun, and suddenly without any buildup he’s in love with her.
this whole manhwa’s gone to shit and I’m upset about it.
sigh.. it was short but a nice read, I hope more cutes stories like these are created but longer.

since marianne couldn’t become her, she twisted everyone’s memories of her and turned them all against her. thus becoming favoured by the ones who once loved alyssa alone. that’s cruel I hope marianne dies.
I remember the time when people were all review bombing this one star bc of the car scene with taeju and euihyun. taeju has been doing so well to redeem himself so much that you would probably be able to see him as an angel lololol. he’s had really good character development over the recent 20 or 30 chapters. even though all the issues between them haven’t been resolved, it stands true to me that they both would die for each other.
taeju is still a few steps away full redemption though since what he did was pretty unruly, but it’s undeniable that he has been trying his best to make up for it in full

these two are written so insanely well that people can’t handle it. they were written realistically and can have random outbursts. they aren’t those basic, stereotypical sensitive mc and protective ml and that’s why people are complaining so much. they aren’t written like flat characters. They have so much depth and emotion put into them and everyone is just ignoring it and crying about recent chapter. what about you see it from both their POV’s.
minchan feels upset that he isn’t seen as himself and just seoho’s vessel. he knows that ml just misses seoho but it does hurt him being viewed as seoho in the eyes of someone who seemingly loves and cares about him and would hold him close. imagine how you would feel being disregarded as yourself and seen with a different identity in someone else’s eyes.
ml (forgot his name) dearly missed seoho, and minchan is the one who carries seohos soul so he prioritised that over the actual person that carries seohos soul. although deep down he is probably aware minchan is his own person and just refuses to accept it, clinging onto false hope. It’s not easy to let go of someone that he has loved for centuries, even after seoho betrayed him he still loved him because he was there to care for him. seeing the one person that you though you had lost after ages is going to take a toll on you and anyone that actually understands how feelings and emotions work would get it.
just stop this debate and realise that the author had intended to make them lifelike so you could understand them better.
