A little confusing yes, but it seems that xiaoen was put up for adoption by her bio mom (the caller) & subsequently adopted by another family in peach town. Im assuming she doesnt hv a good relationship w her bio mother and so she wldnt refer to her as her mother. also "auntie" may just be xiaoen using chinese honorifics to refer to the caller..
