Yeah, I agree with you on the mom part. Although she is part of that shitty system they have going on, she still kinda wants to respect her daughter’s choice (not wanting to be married off, because she doesn’t want to marry AT ALL) and therefore tries to make her a mini me instead (aka business woman that rises to a position of power in her family).
Sadly the only mini me she has is the bitchass ex because Iseul is too traumatised from years of abuse in that family to care about their stupid company. So I think the mom WOULD bend to that shitty grandpa’s suggestion of “if she is no good to get into a leadership position in the family business, use her as bait to a man that will”.
