This is a perfect example of post-rape trauma in yaoi mangas that ALWAYS get overlooked. It's a cycle that gets overused in many yaoi mangas: a character gets raped, forgives the rapist, falls in love with their rapist, and they get a happy ending. I have read a few works where the victim showed their mental instability and fear due to their rape trauma but ended up forgiving their rapist as if nothing happened, they just slide over it and the cycle repeats itself. I did enjoy this story very much because of this emphasized motif. It was heartbreaking seeing the main character slowly fall apart and have his life ruined all by one person. This really makes one think that these things also happen in real life making it difficult for people to escape or tell someone about it. Also, I really loved senpai but he chose not to help Haruki when he could have all due to the fact that he didn't want to be involved in an issue of someone important to him. Tsk tsk humans are messed up creatures.
The best thing about this yaoi though, is that its not cheery cheery cherry on top love story. Its a psychological terrifying tale of stockholm syndrome
I agree, i have read many stockholm syndrome yaoi manga and most of the time i'm fine with it but in this particular case i both hated and worried about hikaru, personally i'd have preffered if haruki didn't end up with either of them but then he needs someone to support him and i guess whi better than the one who scarred him and is himself scarred

The story is actually pretty good and the extra scene wasn't even that bad, yes it's strange looking at a guy get down with a hedgehog, but he was still human. Just think of it as the pendulum omegaverse since that is also bestiality.
Pendulum is more like furry... this is more like zoophilia... I don't have peoblem with creatures with humanoid body... because I take it as human with a funny head...
The problem is that here is like 100% animal... yes... he can transform in human... but it is a big nope in animal form (yuck yuck yuck)!!!
I would feel the same if Sakyou Aya's character have sex while in leopard form while his partner is in human form (sensei almost makes me scared in one scene that looked like it will happen, but thank that he changed to human before he ttied to do anything funny)!!!

I always come back for a re-read. I wish more ukes in bl mangas did this as payback to the semes that also play around a lot. It makes one feel more satisfied instead of having the naive uke be the one chasing after the seme or waiting till the seme finally starts looking their way.

When I was yaoi manga buying I saw that the store I was in carried the tankoban volume 1 of this manga (in Japanese though) I was gonna buy it but since it was a Japanese import it was $6 more than the actual price they sell it in Japan xD

This IS GOLD. I laughed way too much because of the references from cliche yaois. I also loved how sex is depicted as it actually is realistically because no dick can slide right in without enough preparation.
This was a very heartwarming manga almost all the characters that appeared were gay and I loved that. Kami-sama is the real mvp that's why you must always pray to the yaoi god for some of that good bl.
