This was a good read. If romance is a problem for you, then good news, it is not heavily based on romance. He loves his wife, he’s but that ain’t the entire plot. It was simple and well-written. They did not unnecessarily drag things and I deeply appreciate that fact. It was fun seeing the new inventions and how people reacted to it.

The art has changed…

So glad I let ggis marinate. Although, I read it in one sitting. Imma marinate it again. It’s really interesting and getting even better with the addition of skull.

What an amazing ending! Jikka really came through fr fr. He helped get the lives they wanted to lead. He still a perverted, lazy ass bum and (whatever Shion and Shurugai called him in that one chapter). Aside from that tho, he strategized well in getting the best outcome for everyone.

Something I loved about this manga is that they ain’t killed everyone off just for plot. This is not to say that they did not kill but most people survived although I’m still sad of some that died.

I loved the last chapter that showed us what they were all up to. Sagiri is just such a wholesome sweetheart fr. I wasn’t big on her at first but as I read, I grew to love her. She one of my favorite character. I especially love that friendship she shared with Gabimaru; they have this unfounding trust, respect, and confidence in each other. It is rare to find especially between male and female. Seeing their friendship was refreshing.

I have to ask, what happened to the shogunate after he drank that elixir? Because from what I garnered, it wasn’t at a 100%.
