D has had to go through this transformation in his psyche to connect with Y. There's no other way. It's not that D needs to catch up to Y. Rather, he needs to surpass him so Y can fully rely on him. Remember Y has had a very traumatic past and the walls around his heart are iron clad and his respect for himself are non existent. He also doesn't really have much respect for anything or anyone. D will probably have to dominate him initially a bit so he comes around. To earn Ys respect and let him open his heart. Don't worry folks, By the time they get together we are all going to be old and wrinkly. Not that there's anything won't with that. Patience is virtue.

The only thing i dislike about this manga is its title!! It gives emphasis on the bottom vs top thing. It's really silly because I think it's the line story between the two that makes it what it is. Topping or bottoming is NOT a thing. Who cares who does what??? Many couples switch and many don't!!! It all depends on the couple. It really a annoys me that we get so focused on their sexual position that we forget what they have, the switching is in fact the product of their loving, sharing and caring relationship!

This got too boring, too fast for me. I had much higher hopes for it initially. Even the sex scenes don't do it for me. not sure what happened. Art is beautiful though. Oh well.
I don't know if I like this silly childish side of him... It's not very mature or attractive. I get it if he has a crush on her but acting like a brat using his authority is immature and a cop out! Ugh.... Not my cup of tea.
