After reading spoilers I don’t understand why ogMC didn’t just switch their bodies instantly??? Why go through the trouble of brainwashing and pretending to be someone else if your final objective was to get back in your body in the first place???
At first I thought it was a logical flaw that Askan would fall for such a shallow consolidation act after all the shit he has to go through, but I realised that to him the MC is probably the closest thing to genuine kindness he had ever received, so it is more plausible that he fell hard for her.

I feel like a lot of these issues are just going back and forth. Like her infertily issue she kept circling around (and declaring to others her intention to) telling him but always ended up not doing it. There are some logical inconsistencies too to some of the villain’s reasonings and excuses but I stick around solely to see the baby’s face.
