Nah this is just wildly unsuccessful courtship. There’s problematic aspects like power dynamics going on, but a large separation or time and space don’t add credence to the idea of grooming.
They met and played as children. The dude has taken advantage of his position and power to manipulate mc.
If it makes you uncomfortable to read though, definitely don’t. This amount of chapters should be enough to determine if you want to continue or not as I imagine a few more problematic tropes may be on their way.
Bring it on.
Ugh Chen was right theeereeeeeee. He is so good. Caring and loving and sweet. I’ll take you <3
Right!!! I’m stopping at chapter 30, I’ve seen enough. I can retcon the rest in my mind, Chen pissed off that Gi tried to betray him wants to kill him but kind hearted Hae-min doesn’t want to go back, so instead Chen helps the crown prince, they come up with a way to give him enough power to go back to the palace and take the throne and kill Gi once and for all.
Happy ending, the crown prince wishes Hae-min the best in his new life with his new love. And hae-min is just grateful to leave the past behind him for good.
The fucking end. I refuse to see what the rest of you guys in the comments have!
Chen is more stable for haemin and thats a fact, they can heal eachother
While doh will only just remind haemin of all the hurt they been through
Doesn't matter if he will hypothetically die for him as dying for someone doesn't make them the ultimate lover
Chen would LIVE for haemin and be there for him unlike doh who -is to be a frank- a walking time bomb

Unpunished crimes aside. I think some people like to dismiss yaoi, especially this type of sub genre. But honestly, this was so well thought out. The author obviously put a ton of effort into crafting this story and the whole story has a lot of real world application. And it was adorable. 1000/10
