I know this is like a really toxic relationship and seme is utter scum, so I advise not to get too invested into the characters or relationship because you will be in for some serious outrage. This is like a guilty pleasure for me, something I just enjoy reading for all the drama no matter how over the top, but I'd never recommend it as a wonderful love story or something. Like soap operas. The most crazy shit happens but I read because I want to know what happens next and its genuinely interesting and I live for drama.
So what I'm trying to say is yeah , the seme is utter scum, this is not at all what romance should be like, and abuse is unforgivable but in the end its a piece of fiction that doesn't need to be taken too seriously. Only in manhua or novel form would I ever be comfortable reading things like this because I clearly distinct it from reality and understand that what's happening its wrong but it's just fiction so I might as well follow the story. Its why I lkke all the 188 novels, they're genuinely entertaining reads for me, with their soap drama level plots and dramatization.
