my thought is that the brother is probably an entity that was born through a desperate wish that came true and since then it has always followed the mc from the moment he got out of the forest. i'm thinking this mf is probably a shapeshifter or some kind of a ghost and its main goal and the reason for it being alive too is to be that "one" person that the mc needs. however, it didn't realize how other people could step in and claim that title anytime too and to me it looks like its becoming so obsessed of doing its job. i don't think it/he has any significant feelings towards our mc as well considering how its just imitating everything he hears and see around him. its only goal is to make that one desperate wish come true but it actually doesn't know how to do that although it definitely is starting to come up with its own plans now.
my question is, its been such a long time since the wish was made why is it only coming out now?
