hear me out guys. I think the ending was meant to tell us that this whole time Clark was the murderer that's being interviewed and not the other way around like what we've been thinking. Also, when Clark closed his notebook and the fact that he left no evidence of his crime and Alex's just shows that what happened between him and Alex is going to be just another case that he happen to stumbled upon and will eventually move on from it. It just makes me sad that Clark couldn't mourn for his love to Oliver with all the shit that happened because its very obvious he was so into him. And its so sad that Alex died believing that Clark loved him when he really had no fat chance with him. Anyway, I love this story. ╥﹏╥
