It seems to me that she feels more chemistry and similarity towards the dad, and has motherly / nurturing feelings towards her BF. I would support her and he dad because she’s mature and it seems like they compliment each other however, my uneasiness comes from the fact that she’s already exchanged some PDAs with her BF... I feel that that’s going to be extremely awkward for when/if she marries the dad... it’s going to feel like another betrayal to her BF, and I don’t like how the author set up this scenario.. if circumstances where different, I too would support her and the dad. :/ if only she met he dad first...
