HELL NO i been reading that darn story since the chapter where they still in highschool where still coming out and i never been more frustrated with a darn story more than that to this day they there’s been no sign of a consistent healthy relationship no darn story should take this longgggg to develop like that one the freaking dog is the only stable thing in that darn story

I’m 99% sure he is because in the scene at the hospital in ch71 the doctor says “we can’t test at two weeks…” which is true. You can’t tell if you’re pregnant until 4-6 weeks which is prob why they’re delaying the reveal. Also the jellyfish dream was def a premonition dream and in korea those only happen when you’re pregnant.

Honestly I think its just because mingwa and her stories are far more mainstream. So even though Jinx is incredibly tame in comparison to... certain other stories, more people see this one and therefore it receives the bulk of the criticism.

i think it’s because those characters(potn, taeju, etc)showed signs of character development. they were all SUUUPER toxic don’t get me wrong but jk hasn’t really shown any signs of development or understanding so far. in the series mentioned above, the authors were pretty careful in showing various signs of shreds of humanity within them. i’m not defending these characters of being “good” guys, because they absolutely were not(potn author i think even said that seungho was not supposed to be a good guy) just that the authors did a good job of making a carefully crafted story of redemption out of very bad men and where that originated from. a lot of readers aren’t really seeing that kind of story or origin from jk so far, just a circle of toxicity and assault.
and maybe this story isn’t supposed to have redemption, unlike the previous author’s work, which is totally fine. it’s all a matter of perspective and opinion
(please don’t attack or flay or be mean since i’m just trying to explain from the other side

i kinda agree but, those characters at least showed some development unlike jaekyung which is a complete jerk, still doesn't mean we should treat this one "nicer" than those ones, i hope this trope ends some day for good.

No clue, personally I haven’t read this story because this author is known for their shitty tropes. I just think people ignore it because they’ve already had their “redemption” arc. Definitely not an excuse I rlly hate stories that implement these toxic/ grapey stereotypes. It makes Yaoi look bad and stereotypes the relationships of real gay ppl

it’s honestly really sad that rape is such a constant trope in yaoi, and that dubcon is basically considered consensual. if anyone reads yaoi and thinks that this is what actual gay relationships are like then that’s just sad, oblivious, and nonsensical.

In my opinion, it's because in all those stories there is even a small hint (or much more) of lust, love, or even obsession coming from the ml. But in this story for 51 fucking chapters, there is NONE. Not a single hint of respect, love, affection, chemistry, NOT EVEN LUST. Pure indifference, arrogance, and a god complex. I would put it closer to the genre of Killing stalking (not bl), than the ones mentioned above. At the same time I'm not saying the others should be considered normal and non toxic, I'm just comparing them in terms of emotions and feelings shown by the ml.
