I know she introduced both of them to each other (haebomās parents)- I think her circumstances with her own family were so bad that she realized pulling heaboms mom into it would lead to everything, but happiness. So she gave up on her love. She definitely wanted to be the one in haebom moms life, but they were from two different worlds in the end.

personally i don't understand why some people are disappointed about Remi and Ćngel's romance... i think it was pretty obvious from the beginning. for Remilia, the person she loves most in the world is Emi, not Ćngel. the fact that Remi loves Ćngel (in her own way) is surprising enough ā®(ļæ£ā½ļæ£)ā for me, the ending was fulfilling... they lived happily. maybe it's alright that Ćngel will never know Remilia's true nature ā Emi already loves her fully knowing of it, and for Remi, that love is enough. so i don't think it's necessary
