Ugh, I used to really like Yuri. I thought he was out of line but chalked it up to him being distraught when the teacher went MIA and that he'd calm down after they got together. He's ruining it for himself by being manipulative and overbearing, I honestly wish the teacher leaves him. And I used to really love him in the sequel and throughout the story UNTIL he went off the rails completely, I'm so disappointed
None of these are confirmed I'm just spitballing
- Top was heavily bullied in school and grew up bottom of the pack, that's why he absolutely loses it whenever someone calls him a weakling
- Top's parents passed away in some kind of assault and he's rationalized it so that they died because they were weak. That OR his parents were super abusive and called him a nobody and only saw worth in his accomplishments, thus why he's obsessed with winning and such a sore loser
- He probably had a grandma he treasured because he's extremely lenient when it comes to MC's grandma, he has a soft spot for the elderly
- Blonde dude is ML's frienc/classmate/bully from high school and he'll notice how obsessed ML is with MC and will try to take him away as some kind of payback or just to fuck with him
- Kim Dan will catch feelings very soon, there will be a whole story arc where he comes to confess his feelings, ML will do that whole "you're just a tool" shtick, MC will walk away and it's going to be very similar to the story arc in BJ Alex where the MC left and ML tried to win him back
- Grandma will pass away and ML will comfort MC genuinely
- Pervert doctor who molested MC will come up later and get fucked up by ML for trying to do it again
This story is so drawn out it's starting to really piss me off. I thought we're at the climax and close to the end like five times over already. Let me guess: Dooshik wakes up to bottom being gang raped for like the 20th time, breaks free, tries to kill Pilwon, fails, they run away until Pilwon catches up to them again and abducts bottom, rinse and repeat. I feel like the author is just milking it because this is what pays their bills. Maybe I should drop this until it's finished
Oof, this is a tough one. Hee-Seo is obviously very manipulative, emotionally abusive and out of line. He's mentally unstable and probably the most classic textbook example of what badly managed and uncouncelled borderline personality disorder looks like that I've seen in fiction lately. He flip-flops, when Tae-Kyung is nice to him he loves him and wants to stay with him forever, he has delusional fantasies of having found both a guardian and a lover in one, giving him all the kinds of affection he's never had. And when Tae-Kyung hurts him, Hee-Seo hates him, lashes out, resorts to desperate measures for attention by threatening suicide. And Tae-Kyung does not know how to handle him at all, so he unwittingly keeps making the hole deeper with mixed messages, coming closer for a moment just to pull away the next, giving lies and half-truths and then watching hopelessly when the truths he tells aren't believed
Hee-Seo is obviously completely liable for his own actions and his behaviour should not be excused, but it's so hard to view him as a monster because you can see exactly why he ended up that way. His mother abandoned him and died and every adult around him failed him completely, including Tae-Kyung even if he didn't mean to do it. If someone had sat down with that kid ten, five, even two years ago and met his emotional needs I reckon he would be much different. Tae-Kyung is the only person to ever give him attention and affection, but even that's aloof and distant, Hee-Seo chases it just to be met with a cold shoulder and when he gives up and resigns to being abandoned, Tae-Kyung pulls him in again because of guilt and gives him that authentic care he's been yearning for, because realistically Hee-Seo will never make it on his own
It's a very toxic cycle and honestly, what would be the best would be Tae-Kyung disappearing from his life and another completely unrelate adult (who's also preferably professionally trained to deal with heavily traumatized children with personality disorders) stepping in to councel him. But we know that's not going to happen lmao

I really want neither Yahwi nor Cain, can't MC just meet someone who isn't either an abuser or literally his dog
he can go end up with a rock like someone said before and literally no one would complain LMFAOO
