But here's two things I want to say
1. There are worst plots than this literally where the ending is just shitty and the characters are fucking dumb or just you know the seme along with other shitty characters got away with it.
2. This plot was just a level 1.2 which means it was an okay ending some will like it meanwhile others won't. Just say your 2 cents and leave because again there are far worst stories than this and sometimes they get away with it meanwhile there's this one where it keeps being brought up of what he did to him and he feels bad. Unlike where ones are just oh ok I'll forgive you even though you fcking traumatized me and did all those things like kidnapped, blackmailed, locked me up in a room/house.
