Just wanna say from another perspective, some people read manga to enjoy the art not just to see dick (if I want to see dick I'll go to porn sites or mrm not here).
I think the problem is that the rainbow color is distracting to some because it exists within a black & white manga, it's a human thing, we tend to spot & focus on discrepancy esp. if it's very 'in your face', e.g. color on black & white.
