Normally I would drop series like these who goes from one ridiculous plot to another and is just really messy but somehow I really enjoyed this its like a sitcom or something to read when you don’t really want to process too much invigorating information at the moment its ridiculous yes has huge plot holes but who cares its enjoyable i like it

Im trying so hard not to be a whiny little hater because I know the author and the artist put so much of their time, effort and energy into this and God the quality is insane its really good if not for the fact that the pacing is all over the place and is too rushed most of the chapters are just back to back fighting and the flashbacks are nice but it doesnt add anything to the build up of the plot and character itself. Also its kind of messy there’s no surprise element that makes you like anticipate the character because it all feels so rushed at the early stage of the arc the premise and world building itself is good reminds me of really popular fantasy novels like red rising but somehow the fact that the story is all over the place and there’s no widthrawn suspense makes this kind of boring and dragging I really really want to LOVE this series because it had sm potential and I won’t give up on it yet I love some of the characters they just need a little element of secrecy to them I mean if they do it like how killer peter does the suspense it would automatically feel so much better to anticipate on what’s going to happen next I think they like whole pack jabbed all the characters into our face for like one arc and it ruins that suspense and anticipation i feel like they just need better pacing and flow I’m still looking forward to it but as of now 42 chapters in i’m kinda bored anyways if yall finished reading this yap thanks for listening to my ted talk LOL
This. I love the art, characters and concept but the execution needs a lot of work. And despite the fact that every chapter there’s a lot of death it feels like the stakes aren’t high (?) if that makes sense. Every time the main character’s are in danger, the antagonists let them go right before killing them or they somehow overcome it and vice versa. It’s starting to feel like they’ll never die until way later in the story because the author likes them too much. While I don’t want any of them to die, they need something to keep the readers on edge.
Yes omg if i could like or upvote this comment i wouldve done so a lot of times its just so rare to see good art + good premise + good concept in manhua form usually i’ll see it in fantasy books but they’re really lacking the hook factor you’re super right about the antagonist just letting them go and having insane aura and plot armor lol i know they like need to kidnap the mc but like I wanna see unhinged villains first then a redemption arc yall and it ruins the fun that all of the characters + villains are showcased so early in the story plus their abilities too plus the backstories of the villains early on this stage??? Ruins the suspense like I wanna feel like I cant measure the character’s power ykwim but alas there’s still hope
I mean it’s only chapter 42 now I don’t know how long the author plans to make this gone on but if it’s like any other story in the genre this could literally just be the beginning. The “villains” we see rn aren’t even the real evil they’re also just victims of the actual villains. The stakes aren’t that high because we haven’t dealt with anyone so far that would cause them to go that high. The villains/antagonists aren’t even letting them go really they’re just still trying to protect each other while also kidnapping moon (something that’s very hard to do against people either as strong or stronger than them). Like hell if anything the stakes are even higher for me because now the author has gotten me to sympathize with the antagonists and they have even higher death flags and it’s hard to see a future where they break free
TLDR: id let the author cook cause we haven’t really met the true evil yet
The reason I’m not going to drop this yet is for the reason that I also sense that the author is going make the current antagonists into allies later on have the true “evil” be the higher ups that put the current antagonists in their current predicament. Since they’re the current antagonists and I get a strong sense the author isn’t going to kill them off anytime soon perhaps that’s where the feeling of a lack of stakes come from. Like I said there’s so much potential, it just needs a little refining on pacing, execution of scenes and more mystery/suspense when it comes to characters’ lore. I have high hopes for this one

I feel like the ending for this will be a bittersweet one I mean I got major death flag vibes from the very first chapter of this manhwa like peter’s already old and dying with cancer and the fact that he mysteriously got young again kinda shows like a plot device wherein they give him another chance to make things right and he’s just here on a borrowed time and once he got revenge on honor and got his billions back i think he’ll return to being old and dying again and I think for the ending Hanna is still alive and has her own big ahh hospital wherein old peter will lie and rest in peace i’m not really good at explaining stuff but hope that makes sense either way I just love this series so much (im so wishing for a happy ending where peter does not revert back to being old and sick but my gut goes to my theory :(( also I’m still holding unto that hope coz im lina likes happy endings
If Hanna ends up alive like that, that would be crazy. I wish they met again and he got to be an actual father to her instead of pretty much a dead-beat one (sorry but like it’s kinda true )
