I wanna slap myself so bad because I overlooked this one when it first released I initially thought it would be a heavy drama with a basic nonchalant ml. But I’m glad I marinated this one and picked it up again I’ve been seeing others’ review that its boring too bad for them ig BUT GOD I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH as someone who enjoys and grew up reading jane austen, bronte, and other historical fictions its been a while since I giggled so much reading a romance series like literally butterflies on my stomach THE HAND SCENE HELLO??? and I super love the fact that mr. Dalton fell first AND HARDER its so refreshing to read their dialogues it feels like I’m back to reading classic literature I loved it as much as i love modern romance manhwas there’s particular tones in the dialogues of historical fictions that just hits my heart by how well its worded that’s all, I really enjoyed this one

I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU!!! WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU!!! God it was going so well in the beginning when she rescued her maid it went downhill when the prince appeared. The fact that what intrigued me the most was her declaration that she’ll be the evil one rather than the villainess was so good then she went on a blushing spree in the presence of the crown prince the same bitch who wouldn’t give a fuck and was just entertained by the NEW her. I WOULD HAVE LOVED if this one went with the same direction as “the one within the villainess” that baddie did not spare time and went on her business but this one was so disappointing the fact that raul also could’ve been the ml instead of that yt man. Ugh its such a shame there’s barely any manga wherein mc really stood on business I can’t believe she also just shrugged off her father, brother and the prince IF IT WAS REMILIA she would’ve burn the whole empire already.

Why the fok is this one so underrated??? this was so good and its completed everything is just so good and entertaining even the side characters now im invested to what happened to seonhwa if she ever did move on or remarry im so curious about her and un im also invested in the bodyguard and little sister and so much more that i cant even mention it all! This is one of those manhwa’s that’s truly a gem and I’m grateful I was able to read it call it reaching but this should be as popular as the ones we see all the time in the featured page the pace was just right maybe some parts are left in the air but I haven’t read something so enjoyable I really wasn’t expecting anything when I picked this up but GOD ITS SO GOOD
