Yall I freaking love high stakes compelling angst plot like this not just straight up abuse and violence then label it as angst NO this one feels like it has substance on it. Also the fact that this universe feels so similar to the hanahaki disease au trope now i’m wondering why authors aren’t taking advantage of the hanahaki disease concept it’ll be really cool to see more angsty plot like these also kudos to those who said this feels similar to solo for two coz i really enjoyed reading that too anyway this somehow feels like a lovechild between solo for two and a painter behind the curtain

I just read this in one sitting Oh my god this is so underrated?!? I love it even if people think the ending is shit HEAR ME OUT OKAY i do think the ending is shit too but I love it when the female mc stays true to her words I just wished she traumatized him more by saying “I told you i’ll kill the one you love (which is her)” then dies just like that smiling at him. It would’ve been such a clapback to him. I’ve read like tons of fucked up stories like this like who is the prey or my beloved oppressor but damn this one takes the cake for how incredibly cruel the ml is I KNEW the moment he berated her parents saying they deserved to die and leave the mc I KNEW there was no redeeming and i’m glad mc did truly not love him even if she tried I stand by mcs like her who stays true to their goal by any means she’s not perfect too I FEEL EXTREMELY BAD FOR EVELYN but unlike other mcs she did not falter she accepted how broken she is and continues to batshit through her life like that I wish we had more of this types of stories no happy endings just pure angst till the end I do wish for her, sergey, evelyn, and her maid to be happy in another life this manhwa takes the cake for making my heart feel like its on a rollercoaster ride

Idk how i feel about this although the author did a great job of writing flawed complex characters idk how I feel about this I’m conflicted lol. This story was etched in my heart and my heart still hurts for anette especially the first few episodes like ch 1-20 ish and although I read heiner’s pov I do realize they are both victims but maybe I’m just in my man hating era rn but I still feel so bad for anette bro LIKE SO BADDDD she’s flawed ofc but God does it hurt when the person she loves deliberately hurts her and makes her feel like shit to the point of wanting to exit she’s really strong although i understand why ppl would root for them tgt. For me I just prefer a rather bittersweet one yknow idk please don’t hate me for this i don’t want anette to end up with him but I see the vision of others why they would suit each other in the end but I’m just not a fan of going back to your abuser no matter if he’s change or how gruesome the past is.

I feel like the ending for this will be a bittersweet one I mean I got major death flag vibes from the very first chapter of this manhwa like peter’s already old and dying with cancer and the fact that he mysteriously got young again kinda shows like a plot device wherein they give him another chance to make things right and he’s just here on a borrowed time and once he got revenge on honor and got his billions back i think he’ll return to being old and dying again and I think for the ending Hanna is still alive and has her own big ahh hospital wherein old peter will lie and rest in peace i’m not really good at explaining stuff but hope that makes sense either way I just love this series so much (im so wishing for a happy ending where peter does not revert back to being old and sick but my gut goes to my theory :(( also I’m still holding unto that hope coz im lina likes happy endings

Normally I would drop series like these who goes from one ridiculous plot to another and is just really messy but somehow I really enjoyed this its like a sitcom or something to read when you don’t really want to process too much invigorating information at the moment its ridiculous yes has huge plot holes but who cares its enjoyable i like it

Im trying so hard not to be a whiny little hater because I know the author and the artist put so much of their time, effort and energy into this and God the quality is insane its really good if not for the fact that the pacing is all over the place and is too rushed most of the chapters are just back to back fighting and the flashbacks are nice but it doesnt add anything to the build up of the plot and character itself. Also its kind of messy there’s no surprise element that makes you like anticipate the character because it all feels so rushed at the early stage of the arc the premise and world building itself is good reminds me of really popular fantasy novels like red rising but somehow the fact that the story is all over the place and there’s no widthrawn suspense makes this kind of boring and dragging I really really want to LOVE this series because it had sm potential and I won’t give up on it yet I love some of the characters they just need a little element of secrecy to them I mean if they do it like how killer peter does the suspense it would automatically feel so much better to anticipate on what’s going to happen next I think they like whole pack jabbed all the characters into our face for like one arc and it ruins that suspense and anticipation i feel like they just need better pacing and flow I’m still looking forward to it but as of now 42 chapters in i’m kinda bored anyways if yall finished reading this yap thanks for listening to my ted talk LOL
