I actually really like this and i think that the debate pretty skinny uke/hot strong seme is important because it’s about representation.
I personally want more realistic portrayal of people in relationships (sekes, trans, ace, mental illness) and the designs are important to me because we’re human we have hair, scars, excess weight, disabilities etc. which is never really shown in webtoons (mangas have realistic designs) unless the story centres around the ‘issue’ (for example mental illness) but drawing is very hard and that’s why the designs are simplified so it’s understandable!
Also sex can be a power dynamic so seeing someone who’s physically stronger willingly bottom is something i appreciate.
And if you think that yaoi/bara is porn you’re really not making the difference between romance and hentai (of course there are Bls that only have sex in them but it’s different from yaoi and bara in my opinion)
If you want to read more diversified stories click on the bara tag and you’ll see plenty of buff bottoms you can’t complain about Yaoi being hetenormative when it’s literally written by women for women?
I was kind of disappointed to see that the bottom is the janitor but the end of the day if you hate who tops and bottoms enough to make you dislike the story just read shonen ai?

I really like the ex’s design (hate the character though lmao) the fact that he’s not “conventionally attractive” and just “normal looking” is cool i’m tired of seeing perfect looking men and women with perfect bodies in webtoons (no hairy bodies/ everyone has a flat tummy or an eight pack etc.)

I feel really bad for red hair since he’s definitely not going to end up with the uke and is going to get hurt. I don’t think it’s that at all. Chun-woo knows that the red head is only using him for his body, even though chun-woo clearly has some sort of feeling for him. Red head definitely strikes me as the type who wants his cake and eat it too, like he wants to keep his physical relationship with chun-woo and be possessive over him, but can’t bring him self to actually be in a “gay” relationship. Which is why chun-woo seems angry and conflicted. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t stand the way red head and chin-woo are acting (I’ve read ahead in the raws) but red head is definitely no puppy dog being pulled by the nose like In-Ho is by chun-woo
