They just wanted to end it. The villains didn't face any consequences and then BAM just died lol. Like Ella got sent back to her world (no updates on her whatsoever. At least show us that she's miserable). The empress dowager couldn't handle the side effects of the forbidden magic then died and that priest was squished with a big ass rock like a bug. It was good in the beginning but soo rushed towards the end.
no worries a second season is coming!! we will see more
