Seeing the new emperor and them trying their best is so upsetting knowing how much power they have. I wish they had a better support system to over throw the royal family instead of this negotiating the new emperor is very upsetting and annoying and the arc feels very long and repetitive I almost skipped all of it anyways just a small rant I hate the new emperor and his gf they’re both annoying!!
you're so right for this!! ugh everytime i see his face on the screen i get so bothered. they had to change entirely just for the new emperor while he gets to stay the same?? he's seen no character development and it leaves everyone to bend to his will. i don't mind that house chade changed and improved their reputation, but it bothers me they only did it cause literally nothing would've gotten done otherwise. the new emperor sucks so bad T_T pls i hope he grows up or just gets impeached or smth lol

Then the imperial family wouldn’t feel as secure as when Chade family had a bad reputation so no one would take their side reducing the chance of treason. He didn’t really think this through but whatever. He let his personal feelings and prejudice judge their family. Honestly the story felt empty almost made without passion the fl and ml had no chemistry rlly they didn’t rlly talk too before they confessed and didn’t she have traumatized confused negative feelings about him while never rlly bringing it up or exploring that huge important idea. Plot has so many inconsistencies and it’s not that interesting the romance wasn’t really romancing like ever and the ideas were not well thought through or explored the pacing was weird and the plot was also very bland sorry guys maybe im just picky
