Since the one who adapted the novel is such a jenette hoe and tried to force us to like her (practically cut out heavy character development for Athy in order to give 40+ chapters of focus on jennette), who knows what she'll decide to do with Jennette. Wouldn't be surprised if she tries to shoehorn jenette into the picture and have her stay with the family.
