hais ok since i think ppl are taking this wrong, lemme js clear a few things up! firstly, this is not rape bc eunsoo went looking for a hookup. secondly, when did i blame the uke omg im js saying that its dangerous to get so drunk even if you’re looking for a hookup since udek whr the person will take u to or like what will he/she do to u… even if like its on the person to like do the right thing, it nv hurts to be safe

1. consent can change at any time, even in the middle of sex. when someone is inebriated, it is not up for debate that they are unable to consent. it literally does NOT MATTER why they went there. even if the other guy took him back and fucked him, that is rape, and he is taking advantage of him.

2. you said "shdntve gotten himself so drunk". that is victim blaming. no shit it's dangerous but it is not the victims fault for being taken advantage of, and it's statements like that that continue the struggle victims go through and the idea that that's in any way a valid reason.

He rejected multiple people before eventually he was extremely drunk and was in the right mind to consent.
Hajun stops him from going with dude who resembled him and takes him home instead. Uke is trashed still when he regains consciousness. He is not in the right mind, meaning he cannot give consent.
No consent = rape.

‘But he went to a bar to get fucked’ — and? Consent can change. With that logic, any of the guys he rejected could have come back when he was to drunk to think straight and suddenly have ‘consent’. Even if you’re in the middle of sex, if the other person wants to stop, you need to stop. They are no longer giving consent at that point and continuing is rape. No consent is rape, whether vocal or not.

This is a pretty common trope in bl, but the arguments on this particular story are unbelievable. It literally doesn’t matter why he went to that bar. That’s the same baseless argument as ‘they were asking for it’ when women dress in anything that could be considered provocative.

IF you want to argue about the possibility that this isn’t rape, the main question is “would he be doing this if he was sober?”, which, from what we know so far, is more likely to be no— but that could be circumstantial. We won’t have a clearer perspective until it’s addressed through the uke’s thoughts/feelings (if it’s even addressed at all).

You can say he "clearly gave his consent" but he clearly didn't. There's a big difference between having some drinks and being tipsy/moderately drunk but still mostly aware, and being so drunk you 1. pass out 2. can't even make your way home 3. have no idea what's going on.
And if you wanna push further anyway, saying that him saying he wants to have sex while he's still clearly so out of it he doesn't even know who's in front of him, it's still considered rape because he is NOT consenting to HAJUN. He doesn't know that it's Hajun, he thinks it's the other guy.
