I kinda wanna drop this story lmao, I just feel uncomfortable and frustrated whenever I read this story for unknown reasons, I dunno if it's the plot or maybe I just don't like the story overall... weird, I never felt this way towards a story before
I kind of understand where you’re coming from. I don’t want to drop this myself but it does make me feel uneasy for some reason. If I think about it hard enough it might be because their emotions feel “lacking” at the moment.
Like currently Sunbae still has feelings for Taesoo and his like for Ho-in is more lust and Ho-in I feel like is selling himself short, I don’t think if you truly love/like someone you would be okay with 2nd place in that person’s heart. Ho-in at the moment seems more in lust than like. It’s just not enough emotional depth I think.
This is not to say their love won’t develop overtime and I’m not expecting a story where they fall instantly madly in love. It’s just that the story is seeming to suggest these characters have a strong like for each other when to me they don’t it’s more casual lust
Also adding to this, thinking of it more let’s compare it to Stranger Than Friends. That story started off (and kinda still is) a “we’re just having sex nothing more” but you can still feel the emotions of the characters and tell that despite what they say they actually do have feelings for each other beyond casual sex. I feel like this story is telling me they like each other more for than just sex but I’m not feeling it.
