I can’t remember clearly what goes down after the latest translated chapter, but from the images I saw- it doesn’t look like it was a big deal. Last I checked on the raws, ML and MC were in their happy lovey dovey phase. I didn’t translate anything so idk if the situation was found out by either the MC or ML though.

I dont think its unrealistic. They stopped because Ash realised he had done something he previously believed Karlyle was uncomfortable with, so he apologised and said it was because he felt out of control.
Karlyle felt overwhelmed in a way that wasn't necessarily good and he needed to process it, so, he walked away from it. That was after though, not really in the middle of it cause he already finished, so maybe you're referring to a different scene.
I thinks thats pretty normal? Sex can be a weird and overwhelming and complex thing! I just wish they would talk to eachother about it. Like Ash is very clearly going through something, and Lyle internalizes a lot of thoughts he should express.
