I started watching the anime first then after I finished it, I’ve decided I wanted to read the manga and then I did. I’m actually surprised that the manga isn’t finished yet and now I have to WAIT （￣へ￣）

It's not as easy as it seems. He has to play the role of his brother until his whereabouts are found and brought home. He is pushing April away to protect her, of course, it didn't exactly work.
She figured it out almost immediately who he really is and he has to do something to make her stop persisting, even it meant hurting her. He only wants her safe but didn't think about the drastic measures she would do to help him in any way she can.
