I have no personal complaint about the SpongeBob meme. I don't think I even noticed it at the time and had to go back to find it to see what the fuss was about. It didn't personally offend me. I'm not into kink-shaming. This is a free site to use, and we are all lucky that people take the time to translate/post these mangas for us to read, and it seems common sense not to take that for granted by pissing off the very people who work (for free) to provide us with this entertainment.

That person politely expressed an opinion, the translator seemed ok with having received that opinion, and the matter was solved on their end. But you've taken personal offense on the translator's behalf, as if virtue signaling about freedom of speech, while also berating the dm'er's expression of freedom of speech. Maybe the dm'er was doing their own virtue signaling with their dm to the translator. I don't know. I like this manhwa, as I do many others but the normalization of rape and sexual harassment and lack of trigger warnings is generally upsetting. It's true that I can read other manga/manhwa and I do. I do skip certain scenes and I am not shaken by them, I am just displeased that Fujo chose to shame someone who was obviously uncomfortable with the topics. Hey man, my say may be a little to late than I anticipated since things got out of hand but, I still stand by what @Fujo said, if you don't like a meme or any form of expression online, if it's not to your taste at all, then ignorance is an option. Imagine how embarrassing it is and also degrading to even point out that a preference or a perspective is wrong, I've experienced it before, personally I don't like rape, explicit or otherwise, but I just ignore it because in this context it's just in the story, ergo: fictitious.
