if you thinking about reading this, just do it. whatever hesitations you have or doubts, throw them out the window because everything about this is just excellent; the plot 100/10, characters 1000/10, world building 10/10, everything is literally perfect. if you like mystery, complicated, deep and beautiful characters and relationships, and interesting fictive worlds, this is literally all of that in one!!

why is the seme so musty and weird? he's so odd and unnatural

the mc is really annoying and cringe for a while but his character development is so good that it makes all the secondhand embarrassment worth it. the characters are so meant for each other, their enemies (onesided) to lovers is and it's just a really satisfying story overall!!

this story feels like a deadlock. the characters, despite their depth and interdependent complexity, are so overwhelmingly boring that it's actually a feat. i think i've just read so many these stories, that the intrigue is just lost on me. the violence, constant back-and-forths... all for what exactly? there's no mystery or great trial (they're both doomed anyways; physically, psychologically), it seems as though the other just wanted to write elevated porn, which is fine, but not worth 80+ chapters of development of which only about half are even crucial or meaningful.

omg everything from the tension, flirting, slight angst, heady romance, THE ART (gorgeous, 10/10), the attention to detail for character design, outfits etc., the pacing and little tidbits of action UGH the fact that this has been uploading since last january and only has 41 chapters is so devastating but waiting patiently for these chapters is so worth it!!!!

i love complicated, morally grey main characters like this!! so sick of the fluffy, fautless mcs being thrown to the wolves; it's nice to see something different.
