Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time...I had so many bad vibes from the teacher but he turned out to be a pure bean...sorry teach! I loved every bit but the ending felt rushed to me. Like a chapter to show us all how they grown in the end? Like did Dad get released? Did Ming become a billionaire and smack his dad and call him a peasant? Did Ming and Shiyi become a couple? I can't be the only ones who shipped these babies.

I walked into this ready to hate how short it is...and I was right. While the story is perfect. Literally doesn't feel like it was rushed or cut down. The story is nice and rounded out and felt longer than 3 chapters. A complete story. I hated it, because I love it so much!! I wouldn't mind another 30 chapters. They're so adorable and sexy and funny and sigh...I'm a greedy girl and I want more.

The comedy, the smut, the story! All deliciousness...not even ashamed but was hoping because of all the animal traits we would somehow get babies. Ah well, still great!

I loved every bit ot this, coming from another of their stories that dragged on waaaay too long, this was perfect. The storyline was great and the comedy was amazing. Takumi deserves a story too!

I have read some cheesy manga. I have even read some manga that was porn disguised under plot manga. Usually I love it.. i think it's funny and I use it to kind of reset after more emotional or heavy manga. This though...I don't think this was anything other than a cash grab by the mangaka. Thank goodness I read it here. Bless you uploaders!
I have a serious need finish what I start. Even if I'm not enjoying it. Much to my detriment. I don't mind buying manga by the chapter to support an artist. I like coolmic prices. That being said..72 freaking chapters?!?!?! Were they delusional to think the story was good enough to call for 72 chapters?! Or did they do the math of 60 cents to 1.00 a chapter...73 chapters....bank. I still love my so stupid it's funny, toxic, unrealistic manga...but this ain't it.

This was perfect. In every panel. The psychological aspects, the romance, the everything. I saw comments about the ending being abrupt, but I believe it was perfect. It showed the artist finding his art again, the fact that he's now doing portraits, and he's together with our boy.

My heart nearly broke there at the robbery, until the bad guys gave us that 4th wall break about it being a fantasy. So glad our boy showed up, our beautiful guard dog of a boy, looking like a God of vengeance!!!

Of course, now I'm psychoanalyzing the title with the last chapter....hear me out...what if...what if the ending is the lie? Our boy did die...and the artist in his guilt and grief constantly draws nothing but portraits of our boy. The most beautiful lie...that he's there in a relationship with him and he's not in bed because he's making him breakfast. Oh, the mangaka really wanted us to hurt our brains... still loved it!!!!

A false update?! So mean....so evil. I was so excited. I've bought a few of the hard copies I could find of this, but they must be limited editions or like banned or something. Most of the volumes in English are like 40 bucks or more. Is there digital copies somewhere does anyone know?

This was finally licensed! Whoop! It's on Futekiya. Only 1 volume so far, volume 12 will be up by sept 25th I think. So stoked! Now get their others up.

Good art and all but...but he should've chosen Shimizu. He was so sweet and gorgeous. I need him to find himself a love asap.
